Cindy Scott was
named "Employee of the Year" at the annual Employee Recognition Banquet, held
recently at All Children's Hospital.
Cindy was selected from the twelve "Employees of the Month"
for 2005. She works in the Post Surgical area of the hospital known as "4 South
West" as an RNII, and has been with the hospital since 2001.
A patient's family
nominated Cindy for her "Service Excellence" and the care she provided to their
son who suffered severe trauma to his leg due to a lawn mower accident. From
check-in to check-out at All Children's, the parents said the care they received
far exceeded their expectations. Cindy credits her Director, Gina Yarbrough, for
providing amazing leadership and impeccable guidelines that promote high
standards of care.
A native Floridian, Cindy received her Nursing Degree
from St. Petersburg College. In her spare time, Cindy likes to draw, paint, sew
and cook.
