Congratulations to Donna Wertheim, RN who is the DAISY Award recipient for June, 2009. Donna works in the NICU.
The DAISY Award is presented monthly to an All Children's Hospital Nurse that has provided extraordinary service to our patients.
Donna is a graduate of Valencia Community College and is working on her Master's Degree at the Univeristy of South Florida. She has been a nurse at All Children's for five years.
The nurse that nominated Donna for the award said, "I recently had a fabulous experience when I worked in the NICU. A caring charge nurse named Donna Wertheim impacted my enjoyable night. Donna went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable by answering all my questions and assisting me when help was needed. I will never forget my experience with working in NICU."
