All Children's Hospital has been selected as the 2006 "Business of the Year" by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. ACH was doubly honored by also receiving the top award in the Health Care Business category.
ACH was cited for its work in pediatric health care, reaching nearly 9,200 patients in 2005, with more than 300,000 outpatient and 33,000 emergency center visits.
A total of 39 businesses, business teams and individual CEO's qualified as finalists in nine award categories for this year's competition. The finalists were selected from more than 130 nominees, the most ever for the awards program. The awards culminated with the overall "Business of the Year" chosen from among the category winners.
