Alissa Havens named the DAISY Award winner for March 2008
Congratulations to Alissa Havens, RN IV of Four SW who is the DAISY Award recipient for March. Alissa was nominated for taking the time to explain what she is doing and why to her patients. For example, if she adds medicine to an IV, she lets her patient know. Her patient feels she is a great person and is sure that other people would agree.
The patient's mom totally agreed with her daughter and said, "Out of all the wonderful people here at All Children's (and we met a lot!), Allie is the one who went above and beyond and will be remembered as extraordinary to us! She exhibited all the above traits and more! You should be proud to have her on your team!"
