U.S. Representative David Jolly visited All Children's Hospital on Monday, June 16. Jolly was elected in March, 2014 to serve out the remainder of the late Congressman C.W. Bill Young's term.

During the visit, he met with staff, board members and volunteers. "Working with Congressman Young defined much of my spirit and how I approach the job," he said.  First and foremost I'm elected to represent the citizens of Pinellas County.  And that means fighting every day for Pinellas County."

In response to questions about pediatric research, Jolly said, "If there are areas, particularly in the research arena, that we need to weigh in on I would love to work with you. You bring the knowledge and educate me on the issues and I'll bring the legislative wherewithal to get it done. We will do this together."

He also toured the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with Shelley Moore-White, RN and stopped by the Heart Center for a tour and program update with Ashley Collins, RN.

Laura Donahoe, chief of staff J. D. White and constituent services representative Natalee Campagnola accompanied Jolly during the visit.

"Congressman Jolly has been our advocate for many years while working on Congressman Young's staff," said Amy Maguire, ACH Vice President of Government and Corporate Relations. "We look forward to continuing this relationship."
