Dr. Tuite was the first neurosurgeon certified by the American Board of Pediatric Neurosurgeons to practice on Florida's west coast. A graduate of Northwestern University School of Medicine, Dr. Tuite completed his general neurosurgical training at the University of Michigan. He then completed a fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, England, followed by a more specialized pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Baylor University, where he focused on the surgical treatment of children with brain tumors, brachial plexus injuries and craniofacial disorders.
Dr. Tuite is a member of all the major neurosurgical associations, including the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. He is Director of Research for our program.
