Dr. Schaaf is a graduate of the Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly Medical College of Pennsylvania Hahnemann School of Medicine). He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA, where he served as chief resident. In June he completed his pediatric radiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. His research on using magnetic resonance sleep studies to predict the success or failure of genioglossus advancement in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea was selected for presentation at the Society for Pediatric Radiology in April 2009. Dr. Schaaf’s special interests include cardiac imaging. He is board-certified in radiology and board-admissible in pediatric radiology.
