Urology

The pediatric urology program takes care of children of all ages, from infants through teens, with diseases of the genitourinary tract. Diagnostic services, surgery and medical management are available for a wide range of problems, including dysfunctional voiding, urinary tract infections, vesicoureteral reflux, obstructive uropathy, hypospadias, neurogenic bladder, inguinal hernia, and congenital malformations of the genitourinary tract.  Urodynamics testing is available in the Special Procedures Unit at All Children’s Hospital.

The pediatric urologists also work in collaboration with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to provide consultation and management for congenital urinary tract disease detected in utero.

A highly successful pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy for urinary incontinence is available in cooperation with All Children’s pediatric occupational and physical therapy program.
