The ACH Neuro-Oncology Tumor Board is a case-discussion held twice a month. Interrelated practitioners in the field of pediatric oncology meet to discuss current cases at ACH related to the care of patients with brain tumors. Case discussions will be used to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the management of patients, and to identify gaps in technical capacity or limitations of best practice outcome data for a patient's given diagnosis.
Case presentations will be presented by neuro-oncologists, neuro-radiologists, other related specialists, and mid-level practitioners. The presenters will select current cases that will be of value to their own practice and to the healthcare providers in attendance, encourage active discussion, and engage all participants.
