A graduate of Williams College (BA) and the University of Rochester (MD), Dr. Danielson completed his general surgery residency at the University of Rochester, a research fellowship in pediatric surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, and clinical fellowship in pediatric surgery at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. He was formerly a member of the surgical faculty of the University of Massachusetts where he served as Director of Pediatric Surgical Oncology until moving to All Children’s Hospital to become the Medical Director of the Division of Pediatric Surgery in 2009. Dr. Danielson, a colonel in the US Army Reserve, is a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.
