Nephrology |
In association with the University of South Florida, the pediatric nephrology program provides care for infants, children and teens with acute and chronic diseases of the kidney and the urinary system. Our pediatric nephrologists diagnose and treat problems that include congenital malformations of the kidney, polycystic kidney disease, chronic renal insufficiency, acute renal failure, hypertension, electrolyte disorders and other problems.
A dialysis unit and renal transplant program are key services of the pediatric nephrology program.
