Vendor Definitions

All Children’s Health System (ACHS): for the purpose of this policy, All Children’s Hospital, Inc., All Children’s Hospital Foundation, Inc., All Children’s Research Institute, Inc., Pediatric Physician Services, Inc., West Coast Neonatology, Inc., All Children’s SurgiKid of Florida, Inc., Kids Home Care, Inc., All Children’s Physician Hospital Organization, Inc., and any other related corporations that may be formed in the future.

ACHS Personnel: for the purpose of this policy, means any employee or volunteer.

Vendor: anyone or any entity that ACHS engages in the normal course of business.  Vendors are classified as being from one of the following categories:

• Product Delivery.  Examples include, but are not limited to: U.S. Foods, Coca Cola, Ross Labs, St. Pete Bagel, and Standard Coffee. 

• Repair/Service.  Examples include, but are not limited to: Otis Elevator, Lock and Key Services, and Ingersoll-Rand.

• Contracted Consultants.  Examples include, but are not limited to: Cerner, Aim Healthcare, and Smart Documents.
  • Pharmaceutical.  Examples include, but are not limited to: AstraZenica, Aventis, GlaxoSmith Welcome, Novartis, Pfizer, Roche, and TAP Pharmaceutical.
    • Medical.  Examples include, but are not limited to: BD Medical, Ross Labs, Philips Medical, Cardinal Health, Hill-Rom, Stryker Medical, Space Labs, Tyco Healthcare, Getinge, Gulfstream Spine, Hospira, Ethicon, US Surgical, Kimberly - Clark, Kendall, Fisher and Medline, Karl Storz Endoscopy, G. E. Medical Systems, and Boston Scientific.
