Hematology/Oncology

Our pediatric hematology-oncology program is one of the largest in the southeastern United States and is a leading center for treatment and clinical research. All Children's Hospital is the only pediatric affiliate for the Moffitt Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

We provide a multidisciplinary approach to care that includes integrated outpatient and inpatient services, with support from nurse practitioners, research nurses, case managers, pediatric social workers, pharmacists, nutritionists, physical therapists and child life programming.

We see patients daily at on the main All Children's Hospital campus in St. Petersburg as well as in our dedicated wing at All Children's Outpatient Care location in Tampa.  Consultations and follow-up care are available at our All Children's Outpatient Care locations in Sarasota and Lakeland.

In 2004 the program was recognized for its outstanding work by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the nation’s largest professional society of physicians who treat people with cancer.

More information is available in The Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Family Handbook (1.9 MB PDF)

This handbook has been written by members of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) to help you learn about childhood cancer and its treatment. The handbook contains information about resources that are available at All Children's Hospital and in the Tampa Bay area to help you care for your child.
