All Children's Hospital and Great Explorations Children's Museum kicked off the re-opening of Fit4AllkidsVille on March 13. The celebration included a special ribbon cutting with one of our own Fit4Allkids participants, Audrey, and her family as honored guests.

On Saturday, March 16th, Fit4AllkidsVille was open free for the public to enjoy. Fit4AllkidsVille features colorful, fun and active learning areas. It's an educational venue for children and families to gain knowledge and valuable information that will help keep children healthy, active and strong.

Fit4AllkidsVille teaches kids the latest health, safety, fitness, and nutrition information while having fun. Kids can stop by the nutrition café and learn nutrition basics, such as how to choose healthy meals using My Plate. Visit the doctor's office where kids become the doctor to learn about the human body and how medical care is important for good health. Kids can jump, bike, and crawl their way through an obstacle course in the fitness zone.

The renovated area also features a classroom lab for cooking programs and lessons on healthy living. Learning can be fun and Fit4AllkidsVille guarantees a great time for the whole family.

Great Explorations is located at 1925 Fourth Street North in St. Petersburg. They are open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
