Since 2004, All Children's Fit4Allkids has been providing families with programs to help address the growing epidemic of child obesity. On March 16 Fit4Allkids kicks off another community program aimed at keeping kids healthy.
Since the original opening in 2008, Fit4AllkidsVille has delivered information to thousands of children. The updated exhibit will provide a brand new interactive experience to many more.
Fit4AllkidsVille is the coolest place in town, providing parents and children with the opportunity to learn the latest health, safety, fitness, and nutrition information while having fun. Kids can stop by the nutrition café and learn nutrition basics, such as how to choose healthy meals using My Plate. Visit the doctor's office where kids become the doctor to learn about the human body and how medical care is important for good health. Kids can jump, bike, and crawl their way through an obstacle course in the fitness zone.
The renovated area also features a classroom lab for cooking programs and lessons on healthy living. Learning can be fun and Fit4AllkidsVille guarantees a great time for the whole family.
