Nancy Templin Named Finalist for Tampa Bay Business Journal CFO of the Year
Congratulations to Nancy Templin on being named a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal's CFO of the Year Award in the nonprofit category. The winners in each category will be announced at a February 28 luncheon.
Nancy joined All Children's Hospital in June 2010 as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In this role she is responsible for the institution's operating and capital budgets and managing the hospital's long-range finances. Last year she completed a $105 million direct bond placement for the institution.
As the CFO for a children's hospital with more than 50% of its beds devoted to intensive care services, Nancy's leadership contributes to quality improvement and strategic initiatives that are essential to All Children's delivery of tertiary and quaternary pediatric care.
Before joining ACH, Nancy held leadership positions at Children's Medical Center Dallas, a 404-bed pediatric academic medical center. Nancy's previous experience also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance for Harris Methodist H-E-B Hospital in Bedford, TX, part of the Texas Health Resources network.
A Certified Public Accountant, Nancy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Texas, Arlington. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Children's Hospital Association.
