Pediatric critical care specialists take care of acutely ill patients in the two Pediatric Intensive Care Units at All Children’s. They serve as attending physicians for the patients admitted to PICU for medical problems like pneumonia and meningitis. They work closely with surgical specialists in taking care of patients recovering from major surgeries, and are actively involved in the care of our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) patients.
