Affiliates

University of South Florida

All Children’s has been affiliated with the University of South Florida, College of Medicine since 1973, building a robust pediatric biomedical research community with shared facilities, faculty, advanced technological equipment, and graduate medical education programs. All Children’s is the major pediatric teaching site for the University’s medical education program and the pediatric residency program, along with pediatric training experience for other post-graduate programs.
 
The major research center for the USF Department of Pediatrics is the USF/ACH Children’s Research Institute, located adjacent to the All Children’s Hospital’s 30 acre campus. Completed in 2000, the four-story, 54,000 square-foot facility accommodates the research laboratories of ACH/USF joint endowed research chairs  conducting basic and translational research.

H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute

All Children’s Hospital is the pediatric affiliate of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, the only National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state of Florida. This affiliation fosters collaboration in research and treatment options, and opportunities to share resources and information in such areas as cancer genetics and novel therapies. All Children’s and the Moffitt Center are dedicated to conducting research that will reveal causal factors in pediatric cancer, increase cancer survival rates and improve the quality of life of children with cancer.
