Development Council

The Development Council is an ad-hoc volunteer group of caring professionals who orchestrate and coordinate several premier fundraising and friendraising activities for the benefit of All Children's.

Since 1985, the Council's efforts have assisted in generating over $2.4 million for programs and services. In 2004, the Development Council helped to purchase two state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care transport ambulances. These ambulances are part of the transport program at All Children's which travels throughout the west coast of Florida to bring tiny newborns to All Children's for special care.

With the money raised during the 2009 VIP Auction, the Development Council finished paying off a five year $1.5 Million naming opportunity for the new Family Resource Center.

The Development Council seeks members who wish to serve All Children's Hospital and work for better ways to provide quality health care for our children. The Council membership is an excellent way to meet new people, have fun and network with other professionals from the community.

Some of the fundraising activities by the Development Council include:

• Raymond James Charity Tennis Tournament
  This event benefits All Children's Hospital Foundation.  Sponsored by Raymond James Financial, the event was held at the Treasure Island Yacht and Tennis Club.  This was the fourth year to benefit All Children's, the past three years have netted almost $150,000 to further the mission of All Children's Hospital.  Local tennis club pros team up with amateurs for a cocktail party on Friday night followed by a day of competition.  Sponsorship opportunities and amateur playing spots are available; please contact Jessica Petot at 727-767-8422 or petotj@allkids.org for more information. • Annual Telethon VIP Auction
  All funds raised through the Telethon go directly to All Children's Hospital and its outreach locations throughout west central Florida.  This year's VIP Auction theme - "It's An ACH World" - was a childlike look at the program and services All Children's offers.  On Sunday morning the Council answered phones for their annual phone bank shift during the All Children's Hospital Telethon.
