Development Council

Welcome from our President, Jeff Rogo

The members of the Development Council are advocates for children through friend-raising and fund-raising opportunities in the Tampa Bay community. We also strive to instill community ownership in children's health care issues and the programs of All Children's Hospital.  I invite you to join us.

The Development Council's programs include the annual VIP Auction, hosted dinners at the Ronald McDonald House on the hospital campus, community education in partnership with SAFE KIDS, and much more.  Check out some of the photos from recent events on this site.  You'll see that we have fun while helping the kids.

About Us

Since 1985, the Council's efforts have assisted in generating over $2.4 million for programs and services. In 2004, the Development Council helped to purchase two state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care transport ambulances. These ambulances are part of the transport program at All Children's which travels throughout the west coast of Florida to bring tiny newborns to All Children's for special care. With the money raised during the 2009 VIP Auction, the Development Council finished paying off a five year $1.5 Million naming opportunity for the new Family Resource Center.

Some of the fundraising activities by the Development Council include:

• Annual VIP Auction
  One of the major fundraising and friendraising events held during the Telethon weekend is the VIP Auction. This year the VIP Auction will be held at the Hilton Carillon Park on Saturday, June 5th. Our "Take A Walk On The Wild Side" theme will delight guests as they journey though a safari like atmosphere. This is a fun, casual affair that includes over 400 silent auction packages and exquisite live auction items. With such a wide array of items there is surely something to tantalize everyone's interest.
