Heart association pushes for mandatory CPR in Florida schools

New Car Seat Law Starts Jan. 1

"There’s significant long-term research that car seats have saved many, many lives," she said during a recent parent training at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg.
5-year-old hears first sounds at All Children's

Intern program challenges students with special needs
(Nov 16, 2014; Tampa Tribune) | Bunce and 10 other students are in their second week of on-the-job training at All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine and are the first group on the West Coast of Florida to join the national Project SEARCH. The school-to-work internship program teaches real-world job skills to disabled students ages 18 to 22, at which time they are required to leave the school system.
