The All Children's Physician Access Line provides a single point of contact that enables you to reach any physician at All Children's Hospital. We facilitate prompt hospitalization and/or consultation for your patients. Paramedics and LPNs staff the Physician Access Line, answering your call and connecting you to an ACH physician.
If your patient needs to be admitted to All Children's, the PAL staff facilitates calls to the nursing supervisor, the Admitting Department and, if needed, the All Children's Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Team.

Our program provides a practical and pleasant alternative for many of your after-hours patient calls. Pediatric RNs staff our Triage Line, answering calls on evenings, nights, weekends and holidays so you will have fewer after-hours interruptions. They are trained in the use of pediatric telephone triage protocols developed at Denver Children's Hospital by Dr. Barton Schmitt. Our medical advisory team reviews and updates these protocols. Subscribing physicians also have the opportunity to review the protocols and adapt them to your practice.

The All Children's Hospital Physician Referral Service assists families who need to locate a pediatrician or pediatric subspecialty physician. The Service provides a list of physicians with offices located near the family as well as information about physician visits at our regional All Children's Specialty Care Centers.
