LABORATORY CERTIFICATION
The MICROBIOLOGY Laboratory is certified by the State of Florida (License #800000135) and by the College of American Pathology (License #15309-01) and by CLIA (License #10D0700790). We have participated in quality control tests/surveys administered by the College of American Pathologists and others since 1982.

Specimens are accepted 24 hours per day/ 7 days per week through the Main Clinical Laboratory.
FACILITIES
Located in the Outpatient Care Center, Microbiology is a full service pediatric laboratory and is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments including, Microscan Walkway, Bactec 9240, GeneXpert. Microbiology lab provides services in the following sub-sections: Bacteriology, Virology, Parasitology, Mycology, Mycobacteriology, Molecular Microbiology.
