Behavioral Parent Education Class Registration



The ABA Services program at All Children's Hospital offers seminars for parents focused on improving child behavior at home and in the community. Benefits of these classes include:

  • Practical approaches for addressing everyday challenges
  • Education in the most current, research-based practices
  • Individualized problem-solving during the workshops

Two classes are currently offered:

  • Structuring Homes for the Best Possible Behavior
    Learn how to define expectations, organize your household and schedule, and respond to your children's behavior to make your interactions at home as positive and productive as possible. (more information - 190k PDF)
  • Resolving Your Child's Difficult Behavior
    Learn why children behave the way they do and what you can do to prevent problems, teach children new skills, and encourage better behavior. (more information - 186k PDF)

About the Presenters

Laura Casper has a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has worked with families and other caregivers in homes, foster care, schools, and in the community to support children with challenging behavior for over 15 years. She also assisted in the implementation of a multi-site research study at USF St. Petersburg focused on parent education and empowerment through positive behavior support. Laura has delivered numerous presentations and workshops over the years.
