All Children's Hospital Helipad Information

In an effort to provide the safest environment possible we request all visiting flight crews review this information regarding the All Children’s Hospital Helipad.

Location

All Children’s Hospital:  The hospital’s helipad is located on the tenth floor of the hospital at:
Latitude:  27’45’54.36680 North
and Longitude:  82’38’26.39881 West. 

Located in Class D airspace approximately 3/4 mile west of Albert Whited Airport (KSPG). Whitted Tower frequency is 127.4. The ASOS located on the airport has a frequency of 118.875. If not equipped with med channels, pilots can use 123.05 to talk to Bayflite Communications. Be advised, however, that this frequency is typically unmonitored so please call 800-223-4494 in advance so a flight communications specialist can turn the frequency on.

WARNING
When landing on the All Children's helipad, expect up to a 45 degree deflection error in your RMI.

• Size:  54 feet by 54 feet
• Weight Capacity: 25,000 pounds. 
• A wind sock and beacon are located on the roof
• Lights are located along the roof line and helipad
• Helipad lights are radio controlled on frequency 123.05.
