|A Woman's Journey Makes Successful Premieres in St. Pete & Tampa|
A Woman's Journey is a one-day health information program featuring clinicians from The Johns Hopkins Hospital. This week All Children's sponsored two successful A Woman's Journey programs in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
Dr. Swartz, Director of Clinical Programs at the Johns Hopkins Mood Disorders Center, will discuss: Difficult or Depressed? Recognizing and Treating Adolescent Mood Disorders at today's (March 23) Pediatric Grand Rounds at 12:30 p.m. in the Education & Conference Center.
A Woman's Journey began in 1995 after two Baltimore women--both cancer surviors--asked Johns Hopkins Medicine to develop a conference that would empower women to make informed and effective healthcare choices for themselves and their families. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about important medical topics from expert clinicians from The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Over the years the program grew beyond the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area to Palm Beach and Naples, and now that All Children's Hosital is a member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine family the program will come to our area each year.
