Jackie Crain Named Senior Counsel, Johns Hopkins Health System

Jackie Crain has been named Senior Counsel, Johns Hopkins Health System, effective January 3, 2012. Jackie has served as in-house counsel for All Children's since 2003 as a representative of the law firm Trenam Kemker. In her new role she will oversee the Legal Affairs, Compliance/Privacy and Risk Management departments at All Children's. Johns Hopkins Health System will provide General Counsel services.
Jackie is a member of the American Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, The Florida Bar and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. She is the past vice chair of the ABA Health Law Section's eHealth, Privacy & Security Interest Group and past chair of the ABA's Young Lawyers Division Health Law Committee. She is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section's HIPAA Committee and the Healthcare Roundtable for Corporate Counsel. She also participated on the Florida Bar HIT (Health Information Technology) Committee.

Jackie graduated cum laude from Florida State University and earned her M.B.A and J.D. cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. She was named one of the Best Lawyers in America in 2011 by Health Care Law and a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009-2011.
