Have a BLAST this Summer!

BLAST (Balance, Landing, Agility, Strength, Training) is a unique summer sports camp designed to enhance sports performance and prepare your competitive athlete for high-level competition. The camp is for for middle and high school athletes, ages 12 and up.

The camp will be conducted by certified athletic trainers with experience in youth sports, collegiate sports, NFL and MLB professional athletics, recreational water sports, and elite action sports (including X-games and Dew sports). The goal and focus of BLAST is to improve core strength, balance, landing mechanics, agility, exibility and endurance with lower and upper extremity strengthening and injury prevention of youth athletes in the Tampa Bay area.

The camp will be conducted - July 9 - July 31 (4 weeks)

Each session will meet two times a week for a two-hour session from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

BLAST will be held at All Children's state-of-the-art sports gym on the St. Petersburg Campus, located in the Children's Development and Rehabilitation Center at 880 6th Street South.

The camp includes injury prevention programming with emphasis on teaching athletes correct biomechanics & exercise technique. Additional Pre/Post Testing using high tech Dartfish Slow-Motion Analysis to show positive gains at no additional cost.

The general public cost is $240 per person. The special price for children of ACH employees is $200 per person.
