Perinatology, also called Maternal-Fetal Medicine, is a subspecialty within the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Our All Children's Perinatology Specialists provide care for pregnant women and their fetuses. With years of experience in managing a wide variety of complex maternal-fetal conditions, they work to keep both mother and infant as healthy as possible.

Our All Children's Perinatology Specialists care for women with high-risk pregnancies, including twins and higher order multiple births. They provide evaluation, monitoring and treatment when needed throughout pregnancy and through labor and delivery. They specialize in prenatal diagnosis, including comprehensive ultrasonography, chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis and cord blood sampling. Babies are delivered at Bayfront Baby Place, which is located within All Children's Hospital. After delivery, infants who require neonatal intensive care services after delivery are admitted to the All Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, just a quick elevator ride away.
