Learning Objectives: As a result of attending this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the anatomy and physiology of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and similar single ventricle malformations
  • Discuss the currently expected outcomes with staged reconstruction for HLHS and the alternative approaches being developed (hybrid, transplantation)
