U.S. Representative Kathy Castor Visits All Children's Hospital
U.S. Representative Kathy Castor (center), who has been helpful and supportive on numerous children's hospital issues, visited All Children's on May 21. Castor represents the 11th Congressional district, which includes portions of Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Manatee counties. She serves on the budget, commerce and energy committees. During her visit, she met with ACH physicians and administrators and discussed a variety of topics, including Medicaid reform and Children's Hospitals Graduate Medical Education (CHGME), the program that provides federal funds to the nation's freestanding children's hospitals to help them maintain their graduate medical education (GME) programs that train resident physicians.
