ALL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL RANKS TOP IN FLORIDA IN "BEST CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS" SURVEY
(Jan. 4, 2007) St. Petersburg, FL — A national parenting publication has once again named All Children's Hospital as one of the top 25 children’s hospitals in the United States and the best in Florida.
Child Magazine today announced the highly anticipated results of its 4th exclusive survey to identify the top children’s hospitals in the country. The results of the comprehensive survey appear in the February 2007 issue of the magazine on newsstands nationwide January 9th – was based on strict criteria and data compiled during the magazine’s extensive 9-month investigation. Throughout the four-survey history of Child magazine rankings, All Children’s is the only Florida hospital and one of only nine nationally to be acknowledged among the top 25 in every survey.

METHODOLOGY
The comprehensive 247-question Child survey, guided by the leading pediatric experts, examines vital medical information including survival rates, the number of complex procedures and intricate surgeries conducted, volume of research studies, efforts to reduce medical errors, and the quality and training of the doctors and nurses-as well as child-friendliness, support for families, and community involvement. The survey sent to 116 full members of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions last August. Seventy-six hospitals completed the survey. The responses were graded to determine the best hospitals overall and the leaders in six pediatric subspecialty areas.
