All Children's Hospital to host CanSurvive Conference - Nov. 9-10

All Children's Hospital is partnering with the American Cancer Society to host the CanSurvive Conference on Nov. 9-10. The event is an interactive forum for pediatric survivors, their caregivers and family members. Survivorship is an important phase in prolonging the healthy lives of cancer survivors.

The CanSurvive Conference will be held at the All Children's Hospital Outpatient Care Center located at 601 5th Street S. in St. Petersburg.

Participants may register for this free event and view the conference agenda online.

The conference theme is "Living the New Normal." It's designed with three tracks pertinent to survivors and their families: medical issues, healthy lifestyle choices and integrative medicine.

Speakers will include faculty members and employees from All Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Keynote speaker, Dr. Daniel Mulrooney of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will kickoff the two-day event with a presentation titled, "Transition of Care to the Adult World."

Dr. Stacey Robinson of Robinson Concierge Medicine, Dr. Gwendolyn Quinn of Moffitt Cancer Center and Dr. Shayne Plosker of USF Morsani College of Medicine are among the invited speakers that will be hosting various track sessions.
