All Children's Hospital to Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

All Children's Hospital will honor the legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by celebrating his birthday as an official holiday on Monday, January 20.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to honor Dr. King's vision and his contributions to civil rights and equality for all individuals," says ACH President and Physician in Chief Jonathan M. Ellen, M.D. "Throughout its history, All Children's has provided care without regard to race, creed or ability to pay, echoing Dr. King's commitment to justice. Dr. King's courageous support of equality and respect for each individual can serve as our guidepost each day, both as individuals and as an organization."

As with other holidays, most outpatient and non-clinical areas will be closed but most inpatient services will not be affected.
