Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House at All Children's Hospital is a "home away from home" for families whose children need inpatient or outpatient care. There are three Ronald McDonald Houses at All Children’s Hospital. All three houses are smoke-free and alcohol-free. Adjacent parking is available at each house.

East and West Ronald McDonald House

The East and West houses have private bedrooms with bathrooms that are available for brief or longer stays.  One bedroom is available per family, with up to four persons in a room.

Families share common areas that include a kitchen, dining room, living room, recreation room, patio and playground.  All families help with the upkeep of the house by doing a daily chore. Families are responsible for their meals, personal laundry and cleaning of their bedroom at check out.  All Children’s security vans provide service between the houses and the Hospital.

A room request may be made up to 30 days in advance. Confirmation is required the day of arrival. We ask $10 a night per family, but families will not be turned away if they are unable to pay.  Check in is from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Ronald McDonald House Central

Ronald McDonald Central, our newest house, is located in the Outpatient Care Center. It has 14 private bedrooms with bathrooms. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., any family with a child in All Children's Hospital can use Ronald McDonald Central for laundry machines, computers, TV and snacks. Nap/Shower rooms are available from noon to 3 p.m. on a first come first serve basis.  They cannot be reserved by phone.

The 14 bedrooms in Ronald McDonald House Central are for families with children in the intensive care unit.  A contribution of $10 a night per family is suggested, but families will not be turned away if they are unable to pay. Check in is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
