Otolaryngology & Cochlear Implant Program

The pediatric otolaryngology program provides diagnosis and treatment for children who have disorders of the ears, nose and throat. These problems include chronic otitis media, hearing loss, acute and chronic sinusitis, tonsil and adenoid problems, airway obstruction, vocal cord disorders, cystic hygroma, congenital lymphatic malformations, and tumors of the head and neck. The program also cares for children who have a tracheostomy.

The Cochlear Implant program, is a collaboration between the pediatric otolaryngology program and All Children’s Hospital Audiology Services, is one of the state’s most successful cochlear implant programs.
